NOTICE FOR SEALED BIDS FOR
FURNISHING AND DELIVERING OF
HYDROFLUOROSILICIC ACID TO THE NIAGARA COUNTY WATER DISTRICT FOR USE IN THE TREATMENT OF WATER FOR ONE YEAR FROM JANUARY 1, 2026 THROUGH DECEMBER 31, 2026
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Niagara County Water District, Niagara County, New York, will receive sealed bids for Furnishing and Delivering of Hydrofluorosilicic Acid to the Niagara County Water District for use in the Treatment of Water for one year from January 1, 2026 through December 31, 2026.
Sealed proposals will be received until 11:00 a.m. on the 13th day of November, 2025, at the Niagara County Water District Service Center, 5450 Ernest Road, Lockport, New York, at which time the bids will be publicly opened and read.
The proposals shall be for the Furnishing and Delivering of Hydrofluorosilicic Acid to the Niagara County Water District Williams Road Treatment Plant, 7227 Williams Road, Niagara Falls, New York, for use in the Treatment of Water.
The specifications will be on file at Niagara County Water District Service Center, 5450 Ernest Road, Lockport, New York and may be obtained there between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 3:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.
Bids must be accompanied by a Certificate of Non-Collusion in accordance with Section 103(d) of the General Municipal Law.
The Niagara County Water District reserves the right to reject any and all bids for any reason whatsoever. If an award is made, it will be to the lowest responsible bidder.
The Niagara County Water District reserves the right to waive any informalities.
Each bid proposal must be submitted in a sealed envelope addressed to the Niagara County Water District with the non-collusive certificate enclosed. On the outside of the envelope it must be clearly noted "Bid for Furnishing and Delivering of Hydrofluorosilicic Acid" and must indicate the name, address and phone number of the bidder. Proposals not meeting the above format may be rejected.
